Hong Kong Stampex 2026

The exhibition will be held from 13 to 15 March 2026 at the Sheung Wan Civic Centre. We expect to have approximately 100 frames as well as commercial booths. Exhibits may be entered in either the competitive or non-competitive classes. Competitive entries may serve as a qualification for applying to international exhibitions. HKPS presents another portion of vintage First Day Covers from the “Hing Hon” collection and from member Dennis Chow:

1. 1973, FDC Def. 10c to $1.30 Sheungwan 1 c.d.s. (1 cover)

2. 1975, FDC HK Festivals two official GPO cancel, one CPA blue (3 covers)

3. 1976 FDC Girl Guides official covers and three HKSCDA silver, red and blue (4 covers)

4. 1976, FDC Girl Guides official covers with GPO and branch offices cancels (5) and HKSCDA gold with temp p.o. (6 covers)

5. 1976 FDC Girl Guides official covers GPO cancels (3), Girl Guides Assoc. covers (2) and a Scouting HKPS cover (6 covers)

6. 1976, New GPO FDC, official covers (5 diff. GPO cancels), CPA pink, all without address (6 covers)

7. 1976, New GPO FDC, official covers (2 GPO and 3 branch office cancels), also TST cover, all without address (6 covers)

8. 1979, FDC Butterflies official covers (1 GPO and 3 branch office cancels), also CPA green cover (5 covers)

9. 1979 FDC MTR official covers (2 GPO and 1 branch office cancels), CPA cover (4 covers)

11. Stamp exhibition covers different designs and stamps used with datestamp and machine cancel (10 covers)

12. Re-used FDCs. With three types of wavy line hand cancel and backstamp (4 covers)

13. Experimental roller GPO handstamp No. 43, 45 and 46 on HKPS covers (3 covers)

14. Re-used prepaid postal stationery envelope limited edition with HONGPEX 98 design sponsored by HKPS. According to “One envelope one cancel” policy, an added stamp cannot bear a datestamp with a different date. Correct handling by post office see lot 12Top cover, the previous c.d.s. is “corrected” by handstamp 5 and blacking “98” to comply with the machine cancel. Bottom cover, HKPO did not comply with the regulation.

15. Five prepaid postal stationery envelope limited edition with HONGPEX 98 design sponsored by HKPS with different shades of yellow and red commercial use.
